Masvingo business mogul lands top AAG post Marisa Worldwide International Director Mr Tasunungurwa Marisa has been elected AAG executive member for Masvingo province.

Enterprising young South Africa-based business mogul Mr Tasanangurwa Marisa has been elected Affirmative Action Group(AAG) national executive member for Masvingo as his profile continues to grow in leaps and bounds.

Mr Marisa(36), who runs Marisa Worldwide International which owns a music recording label company and is into haulage truck business, is bullish after his election and paid homage to President Mnangagwa’s Second Republic for affording young business entrepreneurs space to thrive.

Speaking after his recent election into the AAG national executive,Mr Marisa also paid homage to AAG founding president and flamboyant businessman Cde Phillip Chiyangwa and current AAG boss Cde Mike Chimombe for their zeal to mentor young business people in the country.

He said his election to lead the black empowerment drive group in Masvingo will give him an opportunity to create scope for young people in Masvingo to exploit the province’s rich natural resources to grow the national Gross Domestic Product in line with Vision 2030.

Mr Marisa also pledged AAG’s readiness to work closely with the Minister of State for Masvingo Provincial Affairs and Devolution Cde Ezra Chadzamira to tap economic opportunities for up and coming black business persons in the province to grow the provincial economy.

Marisa Worldwide International earned acclaim last year after the firm was one of the local companies which took the lead in donating food and clothing to Government to help Masvingo cope with the effects of the Covid-19 induced lockdown.
